Wednesday’s Prayer Guide-Week 15

“Give their hands a Kingdom task…”

Oh Father,

Whether our children’s workplace is in a church building or an office building, on a mission field or a crop field, God help them to embrace the fact that whatever they do, because they belong to You they ultimately are ambassadors of Your eternal Kingdom.

If their work is in an environment that restricts them from openly proclaiming Your goodness we ask you IMAG0187to help them understand that a lighthouse does not have to scream, it only needs to quietly shine to be effective. Help them to realize that there is no workplace policy that can keep them from being kind to others, honest and hardworking. There are no rules that can hinder a positive attitude and a loving manner and the kind of behavior that can draw others to a desire to know You as well.

Whatever our children’s hands are called to do while here on earth, may it be done to glorify Your holy name and promote Your eternal cause.

“Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people.”   Ephesians 6:7

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plan.”  Proverbs 16:3
