“May I hunger, Lord, instead…”
Father in Heaven, each time this fleshly hunger rises up in us today and gnaws at our minds, crying to be satisfied, we will refuse it and be grateful for this momentary, bearable pain. We will accept it as a pin prick in our souls that reminds us of the eternal purpose for which we pray, Oh! God, have mercy on our children!
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.”
Matthew 5:6
One of my favorites Steve has ever written. I never listen to it without tears rolling down my face praying for my kids. Love you both, Steve and Annie! Thank you for your faithfulness and your ministry to my family. You have blessed us far more than you will ever know.
